Erotic Pinup Girls No1 cover revealed!

Photobucket

Hey guy's, well its almost here. On the 30th of this month I will be releasing the digital download of 30 exclusive pieces of artwork for a mere £3.00. Yep, for a lil less than the price of a frikin reskin off steam you can get 30 black and white images instantly for your computer ipad or other ebook reader.

Just thought I'd give you a look at how the cover is progressing, really interested to see how this project works out guys. The only bit of work I need now is 30 short paragraphs, one for each image. Basically a lil drabble or something about whats going on. Any writers interested lemme know and I'll give you full credit and a mention in the book.

Fanwank - 30 page pinup collection

Photobucket

So Ive been working on a project for a month or so now, a collection of 30 Illustrations exclusivly available as a pdf download featuring various recognisable female from various gaming TV and Movie Franchises in various states of undress. As you may have guessed this will be Adults only. Not Hardcore Porn, just something a lil sleazy featuring Miranda from Mass Effect, or a Naked Bound Tauren gal.

The pdf will feature 30 images never before seen anywhere, and will ONLY be seen in the download. Im pretty confident that £3.50 is a very reasonable price for someone to be able to have 30 images on their Reader devices of this quality:

Photobucket

I will be posting a few sneaky previews online, edited naturally to tease and not to turn this site into a full blown porn site, which it never will be. Im just actively pursuing a market where I KNOW people will be willing to spend a little in large numbers. There are still plenty of slots left to be filled however, so if someone has a particular fandom they would like to see me drag through the mud, nows the time to mention it!

Digital Download Exclusive

Good lord its been a while hasnt it?
Life has been hectic for a 26 year old Bingo Caller who draws porn for money and who is fighting off a Warcraft addiction.
The most recent activity however has been focused on the creation of a new cashcow, a 30 page pdf filled with videogame and sci-fi fantasy female in all kinds of scenario's and poses. Yep, loads and loads of porn. I plan on getting this done for the end of the month, so I can help finance future events for me and my GF.

There are various types of content, BDSM, Cheescake, Pinup, Rape, Group Sex, Submission, pretty much anything I could think of including fandoms such as Warcraft, resident Evil, Star Trek and so many more.

Heres a sneek preview at the sort of work I have in store and I hope folk will be enjoying the low price of £3-4 for the pdf.

2011 Calendar final stab

Ok, so I have a few days left before it will be too late to do anything about the Calendar. Do I go with how things are or edit it and end up buying even more copies to mail out? Opinions please!

Full Pricelist

All text taken from my Chipin page at: http://dennisillustration.chipin.com/i-need-a-new-imac

Im a Freelance Illustrator with a background in Graphic Design, and recently my computer of 5 years cad an issue with the Graphics card.after some condescending attitude about buying a new comp to replace my antique.... I basically decided to bite the bullet and get on with raising the money required to get a replacement machine. The price listed is the absolute cheapest Mac I could get which would handle the work I do.

All things considered the money is more of a buffer, as I would end up paying monthly (which in the long run is more money, but at least Im not losing a huge chunk of my money in one gulp).

Now, Im not asking you to donate out of the goodness of your hearts, heck no. You will get something for your money.

$5 - Simple pen sketch of whatever you like

Photobucket

$8 - Pencil Sketch with a little more work and refinement

Photobucket

$14 - Detailed Full Pencil drawing. This is a step above a more basic sketch.

Photobucket

$25 - Fully inked Digital inking. Black and white art at its best.

Photobucket

$30 - Digitally Colored artwork.

Photobucket

$50 - Digital Painting. The most refined and high end of the scale

Photobucket

Any donations above these will be treated on a case to case basis. In order to get your Illustration simply include your email addy in the comment when you donate.

Update on commissions

Ok, so as well as the normal commissions I was inspired to set up a few alternatives, hence a Chipin page. The long and the short of it is that there will also be a set of cheaper and more expensive types of work you will recive if you donate.

Photobucket

For example, Im sure I can easily churn out stuff like that for $4-5 or £2-3. And there are of course the more refined Pencil drawings (not sketches) such as:

Photobucket

These I have no problems doing for £8-$14

Sadly atm Digital painting is a little out of my field what with my lack of a real computer/stylus but I can still handle the other material featured such as inks and Digital Paintings.

Will post the link and widget to the chipin Page soon. Also yes, I now have adverts up on my blog. Every little helps, please do click as much as you can.

Slapping it on the Canvas

Been experimenting this morning with a new Art Program called Artrage. Lots of fun and it has a few affordable versions, Still its a lil tricky to get the hang of all the different features etc. A few early WIPS.

Lets Draw: Insane Brain

The making of Video for the Insane Brain pic

Will hopefully make the next video a lil more worthy as well as keep my rambling meandering voice to a minimum!

feh

Bleah. I am quite simply sick of being sick. Not only is my immune system utterly worthless all the meds Ive been taking have ended up being useless and harmful to my overall health. fuck.

In more worthwhile news Ive been screwing about in Second Life some and have a few new interesting avatar setups. More on them soon.

I also happen to be working hard on both the comic and the Calender. While I cant show you much from each I can show off the recent Dexter pic...

Photobucket

as well as my first real attempt at a Landscape pic.

Photobucket

While it looks all well and good for a first attempt Im nowhere near satisfied enough with this pic to let it be used without some serious revision. Also lastly finally watched Sherlock Holmes. MAKE THE FUCKING SEQUEL NOW!!!! Seriously, a fun inventive rediscovery of one of my favourite hero's from my childhood.

Go Buy it. Now.

And he's back

Wow. I really do fail at regular updates dont I? Well, at the very least my Twitter account always gets at least 1 update a day. So, since the last piece I posted was the Revolution of the Mask pinup (which sucked) I guess its time to break your bandwidth with a Horde of fresh art...

First of all the Comic is having a few teething issues atm, as my Writing style is just not all that compatible with sequential art. In short, TOO MANY FUCKING WORDS!!!!

Photobucket

In other news Kratos, the God of War is just as Angry as ever. In fact After watching the 100th Episode of the Nostalgia Critic here I decided he was in fact, Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy Angry!

Photobucket

Also Ive recently started playing Dungeons and Dragons with a group of friends. Yes I am a nerd, what of it? Heres a crappy WIP look at a lil Animosoty between my Dwarf Merc and my Friends Halfling rouge.

Photobucket

Yes the beard needs work. But what of the all powerful Peacebloom? What has he been up to I wonder? Why this of course! All Marvel at the sight of Undead vs Undead... Cow.

Photobucket

And lastly heres a sketch of my current Worgen vs Goblin pic. Yay Worgen!!!! And yes, I am a Hordie and will play a Goblin. But dude, Worgen are BADASS!!!!

Photobucket

So thats a quick summary of what Ive been up to so far art wise. The main reason Im really pushing the Fantasy art more is that The Calendar project Im working on for this year is Going to be 100% Fantasy. Thats right, all D&D, Warcraft, Halo and other junk like that. Why? Because I just draw loads of it to begin with, and any collection of mine would be 70% of that regardless. So here is the plan. I will be creating not 1 but 2 Calendars. 1 featuring all Fantasy/Sci-fi Illustration, and the other being pure Graphic Design. Time to pull my finger out and get to work!

Here is a few additional work in progress images which May or May not be used.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Plus this Calendar will not be just 12 images. Due to the pretty nifty way you can adjust layout and have multiple images on each page, Im obviously going to cram in as much junk as possible. At the moment I have 26 images together, for example....

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

So thats pretty much the way things are looking right now. Time to go pull my finger out and get on with this thing.

Also, did I mention that my computer is still being a total jerk and refusing to let me create new video's? Well, I uploaded the old Warcraft commission vids up onto Blip.tv, so feel free to watch them there too.

Comics

Penis?

No.

Finally Finished the gift art/late submission for the Revolution of the Mask comic job. As has been stated elsewhere I didnt get the gig but all is fine and well, and Im more than happy for the artish chosen by Linkara. So heres the finished pic. Dont expect me to construct decent sentances when Im also listening to my podcasts... *smirk*

Photobucket

BTW, Loving the Harlequin and Batman: Hush books. Want MOAR now!

Inky Goodness

And page 1 is finally close to completion. I say close because I still want to tweak various aspects, like the dodgy looking gate and the thought bubble trail. Well, It seemed like a good idea at the time but Meg's right, they do kinda look dumb. a symptom of my noobishness I guess.

Photobucket

In other creative news I FINALLY finished the sodding Commission for Lincard of his Vanguard. Yes I was asked to do this in November, yes I am a titanic tool. And yes I'm reasonably satisfied with how it ended up looking.

Photobucket

And lastly.... Gorillaz. Gorillaz are back and just as good as ever. I was kinda ambivilent about the new album at first, but since they have the whole thing up for FREE on their site, then I got a real chance to sit down and listen to it properly. Its awesome. I have a HUGE love of 80's style Electronica, as I do for shows like Ashes to Ashes etc, and this album really does deliver. I start every working day with the Track Superfast Jellyfish, that track is just, freaking uplifting as hell!

Listen to Superfast Jellyfish NOW

Gorillaz are back bitches. Go check em out, and also while your at it try out the new RPG Adventure style feel to the site!
The Plastic Beach

And yes I am working on the font too, I haven't forgotten my other end goal is to get a real design based Job.

Sunday, 21 February 2010

Creativity

Just a preview of the first pass at the Creativity font. Basically Im working on a new design based project every week. This week Im working on a font devoted to creativity and creation, hence the use of draughtsman tools and architecture tools.

Photobucket

Also will be recording a videoblog tomorrow for digital bile, will be also posting some wip stuff for a special family portrait gift for my cousin who's working on her textiles degree in Uni.

Also, missed out on 2 frost emblems last night due to the whole server Battlegroup on warcraft being lag heavy. Oh the rage.

Heirs to the Throne update

Been doing some inking and tweaking in Manga Studio, working on setting up the page layouts for the comic as well as trying to tweak the mood and the slow reveal of the protagonist Devillo. also looking at getting ready for creating the free online black and white version online and the printed colour collection.

Here's the Beef

Fixed the weird tech bug I was having with Manga Studio, turns out selecting tones swaps the layers pallet with a separate one. Now I know! yay, also finished this just before 2 AM. Very happy with the results!

Photobucket

Now time to work on a comic......

Saturday, 30 January 2010

Yet More Beef

Yes Im posting another update on the Tauren DK commish. For some bloody weird reason Mangastudio spazzed out and flattened all the layers as well as auto saving the document. Now thats bloody annoying. Still the pic is looking at least competent.

Photobucket

Now working on tone, and atm results are encouraging, if only I could fix the REPEATED layers issue. darn new programs with NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!

Oh, also loaned Bexa my copy, hope she has fun!
