And he's back

Wow. I really do fail at regular updates dont I? Well, at the very least my Twitter account always gets at least 1 update a day. So, since the last piece I posted was the Revolution of the Mask pinup (which sucked) I guess its time to break your bandwidth with a Horde of fresh art...

First of all the Comic is having a few teething issues atm, as my Writing style is just not all that compatible with sequential art. In short, TOO MANY FUCKING WORDS!!!!



In other news Kratos, the God of War is just as Angry as ever. In fact After watching the 100th Episode of the Nostalgia Critic here I decided he was in fact, Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy Angry!



Also Ive recently started playing Dungeons and Dragons with a group of friends. Yes I am a nerd, what of it? Heres a crappy WIP look at a lil Animosoty between my Dwarf Merc and my Friends Halfling rouge.



Yes the beard needs work. But what of the all powerful Peacebloom? What has he been up to I wonder? Why this of course! All Marvel at the sight of Undead vs Undead... Cow.



And lastly heres a sketch of my current Worgen vs Goblin pic. Yay Worgen!!!! And yes, I am a Hordie and will play a Goblin. But dude, Worgen are BADASS!!!!



So thats a quick summary of what Ive been up to so far art wise. The main reason Im really pushing the Fantasy art more is that The Calendar project Im working on for this year is Going to be 100% Fantasy. Thats right, all D&D, Warcraft, Halo and other junk like that. Why? Because I just draw loads of it to begin with, and any collection of mine would be 70% of that regardless. So here is the plan. I will be creating not 1 but 2 Calendars. 1 featuring all Fantasy/Sci-fi Illustration, and the other being pure Graphic Design. Time to pull my finger out and get to work!

Plus this Calendar will not be just 12 images. Due to the pretty nifty way you can adjust layout and have multiple images on each page, Im obviously going to cram in as much junk as possible. At the moment I have 26 images together, for example....











So thats pretty much the way things are looking right now. Time to go pull my finger out and get on with this thing.

Also, did I mention that my computer is still being a total jerk and refusing to let me create new video's? Well, I uploaded the old Warcraft commission vids up onto Blip.tv, so feel free to watch them there too.

Inky Goodness

And page 1 is finally close to completion. I say close because I still want to tweak various aspects, like the dodgy looking gate and the thought bubble trail. Well, It seemed like a good idea at the time but Meg's right, they do kinda look dumb. a symptom of my noobishness I guess.



In other creative news I FINALLY finished the sodding Commission for Lincard of his Vanguard. Yes I was asked to do this in November, yes I am a titanic tool. And yes I'm reasonably satisfied with how it ended up looking.



And lastly.... Gorillaz. Gorillaz are back and just as good as ever. I was kinda ambivilent about the new album at first, but since they have the whole thing up for FREE on their site, then I got a real chance to sit down and listen to it properly. Its awesome. I have a HUGE love of 80's style Electronica, as I do for shows like Ashes to Ashes etc, and this album really does deliver. I start every working day with the Track Superfast Jellyfish, that track is just, freaking uplifting as hell!

Heirs to the Throne update

Been doing some inking and tweaking in Manga Studio, working on setting up the page layouts for the comic as well as trying to tweak the mood and the slow reveal of the protagonist Devillo. also looking at getting ready for creating the free online black and white version online and the printed colour collection.

Yet more Anthro Junk

Hey gang, its been a while, kinda took a month or so off from art and comissions while I cracked on with my new Job, plus there was the whole Warcraft gearing obsession I was going through. So yeah, heres a few pieces Ive been working on in that interlude to whet your appetite for new and better art.



This was initially created to be a portrait pic on Second Life, but I liked it so much I tweaked it and made a larger version. Devillo's hair is a little bit wonky but this was before the re-design featured in the image below:



I have to give MASSIVE props to Stoney for being the catalyst for this re-design. Her work on the portrait pic a few month back really energised me and got me looking at Dev in a new way. You lady are epic awesome!

It Begins (wow, so Imaginative)

Ok, so here we go, its the start of a whole new era. Deadjournal is (quite Ironically) Dead and Blogger is the all singing all dancing service that will be spreading my meandering rambling slip shod garbage all across the net.

But don't worry kids, I don't type all that much, instead how about you enjoy all these pretty pictures I did recently.

Oh didn't I mention I'm an Illustrator? The clues in the Name of the blog chief.

I just finished off a nice print version of my Portfolio, there's alot of Illustration, a little Typeography and a few splashes of Advertising in their too.



I do a ton of World of Warcraft artwork for people in game. While I would prefer real money, there's nothing wrong with giving me in game Gold.



Because I only discovered the character of Deadpool after he was raped by Wolverine Origins. Bad movie is fun, but BAD!



A little info on my commission for hire work. While alot of the art featured has now been surpassed, but hey, I'm too lazy to re-do it.



So Im trying to find work in the Illustration industry, so it would be a wise move on my part to do something other than pin-ups and Furry Porn. (Which pays at least)
