Fixed the weird tech bug I was having with Manga Studio, turns out selecting tones swaps the layers pallet with a separate one. Now I know! yay, also finished this just before 2 AM. Very happy with the results!

Yet More Beef

Yes Im posting another update on the Tauren DK commish. For some bloody weird reason Mangastudio spazzed out and flattened all the layers as well as auto saving the document. Now thats bloody annoying. Still the pic is looking at least competent.



Now working on tone, and atm results are encouraging, if only I could fix the REPEATED layers issue. darn new programs with NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!

Oh, also loaned Bexa my copy, hope she has fun!

Anyway, here are a few wip's of commissions Ive been working on recently.



This is a already paid for commission (despite my preference on doing the work and THEN being paid) of Nimzana, Tauren Deathknight. The client wanted the character to look dramatic and ready for battle so a recent trick I started using was checking out how the character looks in either the 3-D viewer on the wow armoury or at figureprints. Very helpful for seeing how all that fiddly armour will look at different angles and in different poses.



This is a commission for Sci-fi writer Lincard as a follow up to the moody 4 armed Vanguard pic I posted a few months back. Basic plot involves a Vanguard ship about to blow and the engineer deciding to take the opportunity to rip the commander a new one.

Also I re-uploaded episode 1 of Lets Play Undying with slightly sharper graphics. Sadly cant do anything about the stupid stupid sound problems.

Episode 4

Finally got episode 4 off the ground and uploaded for you all to enjoy. Currently working on a re-do of this level actually as it turns out I was cheating without realising it. Well, Im a noob, so be it.

Raping the New Year and making it my Bitch!

Oh man talk about a rough Christmas. Yeah, lets just say that my friends with depression issues, my accident and loss of arms, my dog's severe medical condition and the insane lack of money were only part of the Holiday Clusterfuck that I had to take in the ass. I quite frankly am glad to see the back of my unemployment year, and am now well into 2010 and taking it by the balls, in as much as I can with these weak wrists.

So, enough emo whining, lets get on with the real meat of the year so far.

As a guy who has no real clue about how to live his life and is easily led along and lets his very core be blown to the four winds, I decided that I'd like to do my own set of video's in the same vein as the crew of That Guy with the Glasses and to that end have produced a set of Lets play video's of my major inspiration, Clive Barkers Undying.

In more personal news I seem to have got a little weary of Warcraft. Yes I love Azeroth with a passion but current endgame with a forced grinding of random dungeons as a fail tank is just a little too stressful for me considering all the other commitments Im working on atm. I do however want to continue playing and being part of the great social Guild Im in, its just that by the end of the day that I have the time I just feel so weary and forced heading on there. But dont worry, Peacebloom is only resting, his return to Azeroth will be when he is ready, and it shall be awesome.

In other news I also finally hooked Ajahli my cute Girlfriend, yes you read that right, onto Doctor Who. VICTORY IS MINE!!!!! After watching a few of the better Dalek episodes Im currently getting her to watch the whole season 3 arc with Human Nature/Family of Blood, and then the whole Utopia/The Sound of Drums/The Last of the Timelords arc. Bwa hahahahaha. And why? Because season 3 was when the show REALLY started to get it right, although season 4, wow. Donna was just perfect. Shame about the ending, but then how else could we have gotten to the amazing Christmas finale?

Oh and I almost forgot, those darn Calenders arrived. Way later than planned and massive as hell. thats £100 down the crapper and a lesson well learned. Expect the 2011 Calenders to be finished and shipped in freaking MAY! lol.
